(2007)
Ed’s first solo record – a mini LP comprising of seven songs – was initially self-released in 2005 as a physical record and subsequently discovered and promoted by an itunes executive. ‘Meanwhile In The Park’ charted in several European territories and was released in the US. The album went on to earn broad critical acclaim and the song ‘Albert’, about the French writer Albert Camus and his visionary novel ‘The Outsider’, courted the attention of Camus daughter.
Playing Spanish guitar and singing softly in a distinct baritone the album was recorded entirely ‘domestically’, in kitchens, bedrooms and in front of fires. Names to mention here: Boris Sass, Andrea Polato, Gillian Wood, Manuel Randi & Liran Donin.
“I wrote this album after dark and close to people who were asleep; the songs ended up quiet and gentle, inspired by the creek of the wooden chair I sat on and whatever ghost decided to pop by ”

(2011)
With a nominal budget Ed and co-producer Richard Neuberg headed to the North Italy to record this 3rd record with Ed’s preferred band.
Over one week in the heat of June they recorded unrehearsed, with no click track, improvising sections and relying on instinct above anything else – a few takes and out.
Largely indebted to impressionistic works such as Astral Weeks and Paris Texas this album is due for release in Europe late 2011 and in the UK through Ed’s own label Moonpainter. More release details to follow.
Names to mention here, amongst many others: Richard Neuberg, Andrea Polato, Raphael Chevalier, Matteo Cuzzolin, & Manuel Randi.
“The cathedral square where people walk through, lovers hand in hand, old men chatting somewhere, the sun upon them, forgetting the night that has been and the one to come ”

(2009)
Ed’s first full-length studio album included 3 titles from ‘Meanwhile In The Park’, 8 new, and was co-produced by Ed and musician, friend, Andrea Polato. It was released physically and digitally in Europe and nominated as itunes album of the week; ‘Albert’, single of the week. More critical acclaim followed but label expectations for commercial success and the current musical climate meant Ed would record ‘Cathedral’ his following album with no guarantee of label release.
“I was in transit, traveling a fair bit during this period, which explains some of the stylistic distances between the songs. Its good to travel creatively as well as physically and hopefully arrive somewhere; whatever the journey and it’s consequences, somewhere is better than nowhere.”
Names to mention here, amongst many others: Andrea Polato, Manuel Randi, Liran Donin, Marco Stagni, Eldad Guetta, Gillian Wood & those at Kore Studios.
